Biography:

Crossbones is a Marvel character, primarily known as a mercenary and enforcer, often associated with the Red Skull. His real name is Brock Rumlow.

Crossbones first appears in live-action within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film, *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014), portrayed by actor Frank Grillo.

Within the MCU, Rumlow is initially a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and part of the STRIKE team, secretly working for Hydra. Following the events of *The Winter Soldier*, he resurfaces as Crossbones, seeking revenge against Captain America. He appears later in *Captain America: Civil War* where he is ultimately defeated.
